Our Sanctuaries
Zuowang: a pioneering brand and devoted practitioner of Eastern healing retreat hotels.
Creating a Third Realm between the bustling world and the sacred realm of the temple, Zuowang is nestled in tranquil seclusion within the UNESCO World Heritage site of Mount Qingcheng in Dujiangyan, Sichuan. This is the birthplace of Li Bing’s Dujiangyan Irrigation System, an important giant panda habitat, and a revered birthplace of Daoism. Here, natural spirituality and cultural heritage converge to form a unique realm of heaven and earth for mind-body healing.
Weaving Eastern wisdom into every layer of its spatial design, the hotel inaugurates the Zuowang Twelve-Shichen Wellness Rhythm (“shichen” being the traditional twelve double-hours of the Chinese day), guiding modern people into a spiritual practice realm (dao-chang) — a spiritual realm of inner belonging and life-renewing healing.
